I hope that you have a great day!  It's good to know that we have an electrical engineer in the family.  Maybe someday I'll figure out some good questions to ask you but I don't have homework during the summer so you're off the hook.

Ode to my love

It's my turn for a poem, so I'll give it a whirl.
I'm pleased you requested to marry this girl.
You're the best guy I know; you're awesome, you're great.
I love when you take me out for a date.
It's great the way you put up with my quirks
And being with you definitely has some perks.
You're a great supporter so I can stay home.
Sometimes I spend my time reading a tome.
But mostly so I can be a mom to our kids.
If there were an auction, I'd put lots of bids
On you, and I'll tell you, I'd pay a lot.
But that's mostly because you're just really hot.
I love your eyes, your arms, and your smile.
You beat out all the other guys by a mile.
I love how you hug and hold me tight.
Being with you feels just right.
I've done a lot of fun things with you.
But mostly I remember our trip to Europe for two.
It all started with our flight on a plane,
but my favorite part was walking along the Seine.
Whatever we're doing, when I'm with you, I love it.
And I'd do it lots more if our time would permit.
I love cuddling with you and watching a movie.
The way we like the same stuff is totally groovy.
You're my very best friend, and that's no lie.
I will love you until the day that I die.
So happy birthday to the man who's my all.
When I caught you, I think I caught quite a haul.
